Making micro spaces’ is a site-responsive work concerned with translation occurring within process and spatial interventions in which change can be perceived, imagined and organised in a social context.
It has a sense of experimentation and puts forward a shared space to find ways of living with as small concentrations of power as possible. Experimenting with low lighting of shop infrastructure and using commonplace materials where it is increasingly difficult to see the works as art. It is either not seen as art or there is sometimes no tangible products and no artwork.
For Window Shopping, En-En See creates a temporary poetic space into pre-existing shop settings that blurs the distinction between private and public spaces. It accents on participation organised between business owner and artist using art to connect us in a different way
